About TCG
The Customization Group is a global leader in mass customization and print-on-demand e-commerce. We manufacture up to 2.5 million unique, personalized products daily across production sites in Germany, Poland, the USA, and Latvia. Millions of customers find us through our 20+ online shops and 1,000+ partner stores. Our 750+ team members come from 40+ nationalities and work at the intersection of manufacturing, e-commerce, and AI.
The Role
You'll handle day-to-day and period-end accounting for one of our entities: reconciliations across accounts, expense tracking, month/quarter/year-end close support, and tax and audit coordination. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, documentation, and ownership matter more than anything.
In a nutshell: Reconcile every account. Control the expenses. Close the books on time. Keep us audit-ready and the intercompany flows clean.
What You Will Do
→ Reconcile accounts. Daily and monthly reconciliations across bank accounts, PayPal, credit cards, petty cash, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, inventory and landed cost.
→ Track expenses. Navan expenses, American Express follow-ups and complete supporting documentation.
→ Process payables. Vendor invoices, payment runs and day-to-day vendor communication.
→ Support the close. Month-, quarter- and year-end entries such as payroll accruals and inventory offsets, plus schedules for the reporting package to headquarters.
→ Help with tax and audit. Tax filings and documentation for statutory and external auditors.
→ Keep intercompany clean. Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and payments across our group entities.
Who We're Looking For
Must have
→ A degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
→ Typically, 2+ years of accounting experience covering reconciliations, payables and month-end close.
→ Strong Excel skills for reconciliations and schedules.
→ Fluent English, and the ability to work hybrid from our Riga office.
Nice to have
→ A working knowledge of US GAAP basics.
→ Experience with QuickBooks or a similar accounting system.
→ Experience in a manufacturing or e-commerce company with inventory.
What We Offer
Salary: 2200 to 2800 EUR gross per month. We publish it so pay isn't a negotiation tax. Where you land depends on your skills, not on how hard you push.
→ Private health insurance after the probation period.
→ Hybrid working: three days in the office, two from home.
→ Extra leave for special occasions.
→ Breakfast, lunch, and snacks in the office.
→ An AI-first workplace, the tools and the time to use them.
Not sure you meet every requirement? We encourage you to apply, even if your experience doesn't match every qualification listed. What matters most to us is your ability to take ownership and make an impact in a growing, dynamic environment.
