The Role
You'll handle the day-to-day and period-end accounting for our US entity: reconciliations across accounts, expense tracking, month/quarter/year-end close support, and tax and audit coordination. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, documentation, and ownership matter more than anything.
In a nutshell: Reconcile every account. Control the expenses. Close the books on time. Keep us audit-ready and the intercompany flows clean.
What You Will Do
→ Reconcile accounts. Daily and monthly reconciliations across bank accounts, PayPal, credit cards, petty cash, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, inventory and landed cost.
→ Track expenses. Navan expenses, American Express follow-ups and complete supporting documentation.
→ Process payables. Vendor invoices, payment runs and day-to-day vendor communication.
→ Support the close. Month-, quarter- and year-end entries such as payroll accruals and inventory offsets, plus schedules for the reporting package to headquarters.
→ Help with tax and audit. Sales tax filings and documentation for state audits and external auditors.
→ Keep intercompany clean. Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and payments with our European entities.
Who We're Looking For
Must have
→ A degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
→ Typically, 2+ years of accounting experience covering reconciliations, payables and month-end close.
→ A working knowledge of US GAAP basics.
→ Strong Excel skills for reconciliations and schedules.
→ Fluent English and the ability to work on-site in Columbus.
Nice to have
→ Experience with QuickBooks or a similar accounting system.
→ Spanish, which helps with parts of our local team.
→ Experience in a manufacturing or e-commerce company with inventory.
What We Offer
→ International experience in our globally spread teams, within an owner-managed company.
→ A pleasant work atmosphere with a motivated team.
→ Comprehensive health and vision insurance to support your well-being.
→ 10 days paid time off per calendar year, plus recognition of 7 major holidays.
→ Exciting projects and real development opportunities.
Not sure you meet every requirement? We encourage you to apply, even if your experience doesn't match every qualification listed. What matters most to us is your ability to take ownership and make an impact in a growing, dynamic environment.
