About the role:
As Head of Product, you’ll lead a transformation: moving TCG from a historically broad portfolio to a focused, AI-driven product ecosystem and improved unit economics.
This role blends strategy + execution across:
🧩 Portfolio & lifecycle (launch / scale / sunset)
🧠 AI-enhanced creation (editors that guide, suggest, and bundle)
⚙️ Product ops (automation in catalog, pricing, variants)
🤝 Cross-functional leadership (Design, Engineering, Data, Ops, Production, Marketing)
We’re primarily D2C today, with B2B growing fast — your decisions will increasingly shape both. You’ll work closely with founders and senior leadership and help define how the product org is set up and run.
What You Will Do:
🧭Product Strategy & Portfolio Ownership
Own the global product strategy and roadmap across categories, formats, and price tiers.
Make decisions on what to launch, scale, bundle, or kill using profitability, emotional relevance, and strategic fit.
Run lifecycle management: scale winners faster; retire low-ROI long-tail products systematically.
🚀 Innovation & Category Expansion
Drive growth in core categories — especially wall décor (canvas, framed prints, posters), plus photo gifts and home & lifestyle.
Expand “story-driven” products (photo books, cards, sets, bundles) as key growth levers.
Leverage new capabilities from TCG's acquisitions to broaden offering while improving unit economics.
Define packaging and upsell mechanics: bundles, sets, formats, and attach strategies.
✨ Product Experience & AI-Enhanced Creation
Own the end-to-end product experience, with strong focus on personalization editors/configurators.
Evolve editors into AI-guided creation (layouts, designs, copy, bundles — not just blank canvases).
Partner with Design/Engineering/Data to lift conversion and customer confidence.
⚙️ Product Data, Automation & Ops
Increase automation in catalog, pricing, variants, and lifecycle processes.
Build scalable systems to launch/roll out winners across brands and markets.
Track and optimize for AOV, margin, ROI, and complexity/cost-to-serve.
🧱 Leadership & Delivery
Lead and grow a high-performing product team in a flat, action-first environment.
Align stakeholders and drive execution through ambiguity with strong program leadership.
Preferred Background:
Experience
7+ years in product leadership (product strategy, portfolio, lifecycle) in D2C/e-commerce.
Experience with physical product portfolios (photo/print/customization, gifts, décor, apparel, adjacent).
Track record improving portfolio performance, reducing complexity, and scaling winners.
Experience in founder-led / scale-up environments with real ownership.
Hard Skills
Strong roadmap + prioritization + stakeholder alignment.
Solid product UX fluency (especially editors / personalization journeys).
Experience applying AI/automation to product creation or product ops (or strong intuition + proof of learning speed).
Strong commercial sense: AOV, GM%, ROI, unit economics.
Excellent program/project management across multiple teams.
Soft Skills
Strategic but hands-on; decisive; comfortable making tough trade-offs. ⭐
