TikTok Videographer & Editor
// TikTok Marketing Studio
TikTok Videographer & Editor
You take a storyboard and a hook and run with it: you shoot it in our studio, generate what AI does better, and cut it all into finished, TikTok-native videos. This is a shoot-and-edit role, not edit-only, and it is built for TikTok, not commercials. You will own our TikTok Marketing videos for the US and EU markets, working in English day to day.
The role
In a nutshell
You own video production end to end, and that means you shoot and you edit. You take the studio's storyboards and hooks, understand the intent behind them, and produce finished, TikTok-native videos: some shot by you on camera in our studio, some generated with AI, most a mix of both. From there you cut each video into the formats and lengths different purposes need, own thumbnails and covers, and spin fast variants for testing, keeping the volume high without dropping quality. This is TikTok content, not commercial or TVC-style work: it should feel native to the platform, not like an ad.
What you'll be working on
→ Shoot your own footage. Set up and shoot in our studio: operate the camera, light the scene, and capture the source you need for UGC and product videos. You won't shoot everything (AI generation and b-roll carry a big share), but shooting is a core part of this job, not an occasional extra.
→ From storyboard to video. Read the storyboards and hooks, understand the intent behind them, and produce the video, combining your own footage with AI generation and b-roll depending on what the concept needs.
→ TikTok-native editing & formats. Edit, add captions, effects, music, and transitions in a style that feels native to TikTok, not like a commercial, then cut each video into the formats and lengths different purposes call for (feed, ads, hook-only clips), fast and clean, with US/EU-ready voiceover and captions where the script needs them.
→ Thumbnails & covers. Design the thumbnails and covers for every video, the first frame that earns the click, keeping them on-brand and built to convert.
→ Volume & versioning. Hit high output (est. 10–15 videos/week) and produce creative variants (hooks, intros, CTAs) for A/B testing with the Ads team, spinning variants fast rather than rebuilding each edit.
Who we're looking for
Sounds like you?
→ You shoot as well as edit: comfortable operating a professional camera for video, not phone-only filming.
→ Good understanding of lighting setups (e.g. natural light, three-point lighting) to keep footage quality high for both UGC and product shoots.
→ Solid basics of framing, camera angles, and composition for short-form video.
→ Strong CapCut skills (Premiere / DaVinci a plus): fast, clean editing under volume.
→ You use AI video and voice tools as part of your everyday workflow, and can show us how you'd hit volume with them.
→ You understand how TikTok content is made, and why it is different from commercial or brand-film work: your edits feel native to the platform, not like ads.
→ A good eye for pacing, retention, and TikTok-native editing style: you know why an edit holds or loses a viewer.
→ Working English: you will use English day to day, so you should be comfortable reading and writing briefs and messages, and able to follow and take part in a conversation. Fluent speaking is a plus, not a must.
→ Design chops for thumbnails/covers (Canva or similar) that earn the click.
→ Able to work from a script/storyboard and run with the creative direction.
This probably isn't your role if you only want to edit and not be behind a camera, if you think in polished TVCs rather than native TikTok, or if you are not comfortable working in English.
Nice to have
→ A portfolio of short-form / TikTok edits, especially fashion / POD / e-commerce.
→ Basic understanding of POD products (t-shirts, mugs, posters, personalised decor).
→ Comfortable with high-throughput, deadline-driven output and proactive about learning new AI production tools.
What you'll get
A package built to be competitive in HCMC, and rewarding long-term.
→ Competitive salary. Market-rate base, annual performance bonus, and a guaranteed 13th-month payment.
→ AI-first tooling. Access to the latest AI video and voice tools, we expect you to build with them, not just hear about them.
→ Health & insurance. Private health insurance for you, alongside full statutory social insurance.
→ Global reach. Your work runs in the US and EU markets, next to colleagues in Germany, Latvia, and the US.
→ Team rituals. Afternoon snacks, after-work sports, and team celebrations for Tet and other holidays.
→ Modern studio. A bright, well-equipped studio in a central HCMC location, built for creative work.
