The Role
You'll own both accounting and payroll for our Vietnam entity, working closely with the local team and the group's finance function. The work is varied, the impact is direct, and the day-to-day spans both numbers and people. You're the go-to person for everything finance- and payroll-related in our Ho Chi Minh City office.
In a nutshell: Run the books and manage payroll, keep us compliant, and be the trusted right-hand for finance and people operations in Vietnam.
What you'll be working on
→ Prepare documents to process daily operations: issue and keep track of contracts, VAT invoices, delivery notes, receipts, minutes of acceptance, etc. across companies
→ Handling banking end-to-end: online payments across all accounts, tax payments, overseas transactions, and customs declarations
→ Review and update information on MISA VN accounting system
→ Preparing financial reports for the group finance team and reporting regularly to local management
→ Owning payroll: monthly salaries, PIT, social insurance, and staff reimbursements
→ Managing HR admin: offer letters, labor contracts, working time, annual leave, and insurance policies
→ Liaising with customers' accounting staff and the chief accounting agency
→ Supporting company events and managing vendor paperwork
Who We're Looking For
Sounds like you?
→ Experience in accounting and HR — you've done both, not just one
→ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
→ Hands-on experience with MISA — this is non-negotiable
→ Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational instincts
→ Comfortable working independently and under pressure
→ Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication
→ Flexible and quick on your feet — you solve problems as they come up
→ Bonus: experience as a Chief Accountant for a startup or small company
Probably not a fit if...
→ You'd rather specialize narrowly than own the full scope of finance and people ops
→ You haven't worked with MISA and aren't keen to make it your daily tool
→ You see HR admin as someone else's problem
→ You're looking for a fully remote role — this one is onsite in Tan Phu District
