The History of ORWO
The Bitterfeld-Wolfen site has a photo production legacy that goes back more than 100 years. Film production began here in 1909, and later, under the name ORWO (“Original Wolfen”), photographic history was made. Generations of people worked in the halls of this film factory, driving innovation and shaping the standard of “Made in Germany” quality.
Today, The Customization Group carries this tradition into the future – with state-of-the-art technology, AI-driven processes, and a clear vision for the future of personalized photo products.
